Introducing our newest addition and highly anticipated tailgate rack! Mounts directly to the tailgate using the spare tire bracket mounting points. Leaves your spare tire free to access without having to remove mounted accessories. Platform measures 32.5 x 13 inches with side brackets being removable to fit longer boxes. Top platform has dog bone cut outs to fit L track tie down rings. Side molle panels have pre made patterns to fit common accessories and mounts like smitty built, rotopax, frontrunner, maxtrax, etc and has a standard molle pattern to suit your needs.
Our tailgate rack has been in development for over 2 years and was specifically designed to meet the needs of the average overlander. We’ve tested and made sure the tailgate doesn’t suffer any detrimental aftereffects while offroading in extreme conditions while loaded and unloaded. We used a combination of grades of aluminum and steel to keep the weight down but strong enough to carry up to 100lbs! Proudly made in the USA with a textured black powder coating. Mounts and accessories not included.

I love my Defender Tailgate Rack! This rack is perfect for the Defender for any adventure I am on. No matter if I am carrying extra camp chairs of a bundle of firewood the rack does it all. I carry my propane tank and other gear along with a set of MaxTrax recovery boards. I am very happy with the Defender Tailgate Rack. Also it’s a no brainer if you want to haul gear on your spare tire. Being able to have access to the spare tire in an emergency without compromising what I am hauling is worth every penny!
